We landed in Belgium around 7:30 this morning and successfully made it through customs, which honestly felt like a miracle because the line was outrageously long. After that, we boarded the train, and it was such a fun experience getting to see the different cities and scenery along the way. It was exciting finally arriving and taking everything in after such a long day of traveling.

We then made our way to the Jabbla AAC company, which was an amazing experience. We learned about the different AAC devices they offer and all of the features they provide, such as custom pictures and voice recordings, sentence building, text-to-speech support, and so much more. It was really interesting getting to see how these devices can help individuals communicate more effectively and independently. Being able to learn about the technology firsthand made the visit even more meaningful and inspiring.

To finish off the night, we went out to eat at Mosquito Coast, which was absolutely delicious. I had the Mac Marrakech, and I would definitely recommend it because it was amazing. Overall, I am so happy everyone made it here safely and that we had such a fun and successful first day. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the rest of the trip, and I am looking forward to reading everyone else’s blogs as the days go on!
